30 Days in September: Insane or Inspired?

I launched as Creative Communications on September 5th of this year. Here's an abbreviated version of my going-into-business plan (as it has worked out so far):
  • I resigned my position with my full-time employer and set aside two months to train my replacement.
  • I scheduled myself for webinars and seminars in marketing, creative thinking, and business start-up.
  • I scheduled a couple of meetings with professionals already involved in marketing and blogging.
  • Two weeks prior to the launch day, I started blogging four times a week so that I would form the habit of writing regularly.
  • Three or four weeks ago I started narrowing my work focus.
  • Last week I began the process of revising my blog site.
But here's the most important step. From today through the end of September I will be taking time to explore some new creative options. In some ways, these "new" options are really old interests that I buried 40 years ago out of a mistaken belief that they served no practical purpose in my life. Now, I'm not so sure about that.

I'm not sure if this is a crazy idea or an inspired one. But it is the next step.
