House Cleaning

It's time to freshen things up here at Wits' End Solutions. Over the next few months, from now through the holidays, I will be updating, refreshing, and reforming the look of this blog. It's in need of a little paint (new colors) and some new furniture (images). I might even pull out a different site theme. We'll see.

It's also obvious that the site needs some new reading material. So, with that in mind, I'll be removing a few fairly recent posts and reposting some older, but still relevant, content from the past. I'm also developing content around a few recurring themes (rather than random topics). Think of these themes as individual file drawers. One drawer (theme) might be for posts concerning our faith. Another might be for articles about work. Another might be for family-related content.

One new drawer, new theme, that I'm excited about will be for posts about those common, around-the-house items that sometimes have uncommon meaning for us. You know the kind of things I'm talking about: the old chair, the favorite book, the faded jacket, the family photo. Each of these tells a story.

And speaking of stories, I'm thinking about a special drawer for the stories told to us as kids, and for the stories that we told to our own children when they were young.

Lots to write about. But there's no sense getting too far ahead of things. For now, there's just work to be done.
